Hamad Port is Qatar's largest and most advanced port, located 25 kilometers south of Doha. This new multi-purpose port facility has been designed to be the most efficient, safest and most environmentally friendly port capable of handling all types of cargo including containers, bulk, liquid cargo as well as livestock.
Hamad Port has three main container terminals, namely CT1, CT2, and CT3. The terminal is operated and managed by the Hamad Port Company. These terminals have a total of 26 berths and can handle a throughput of more than 7,000,000 TEUs simultaneously.
